Discovery Ridge Community Association

Community Cleanup

Each year the City of Calgary Waste and Recycling Services and Community Standards partner up with community associations to help communities get rid of unwanted household items and property waste. This event saves residents a trip to the landfill for items that do not fit their waste and recycling carts for residents that do not have cart service by providing three packer trucks with crews. This service is free to all Calgarians.

When: Saturday, July 10th, 2021 from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. (please arrive prior to 1:45 p.m.)

Discovery Ridge Recreation Facilities

As we navigate these challenging COVID times, the Discovery Ridge Community Association regularly reviews the usage of our Recreation Facilities. For the time being, our facilities remain open for use. All users are required to adhere to any and all current Public Health Orders and/or City of Calgary COVID rules. The DRCA does not manage enforcement of these rules and as such users MUST self-regulate in order to prevent a full closure of our facilities. Please use regular reporting channels, such as the City of Calgary 311 service or the Calgary Police Service non-emergency number (403-266-1234) for any misuse complaints.
