Volunteering is a great way to meet your neighbours, have fun, and contribute to the vitality of Discovery Ridge. The events and activities the DRCA hosts require volunteer support from our community. Our current volunteering opportunities include:
- Board member
- Bottle Shack Unload Team (about 20 minutes, 4 times a year)
- Community Cleanup (21 volunteers needed): sign up at Springbank Hill 2026 Community Cleanup
- Casino (35 volunteers needed): sign up at 2026 Casino Fundraiser
- Discovery Ridge Business Liaison (primarily administrative)
- Farm Stand coordinator (primarily administrative)
- Food truck coordinator (1 volunteer needed, primarily administrative)
- Grant Applications coordinator (primarily administrative)
- Membership coordinator (primarily administrative)
- Music in the Park (1 event leader needed)
- Parade of Garage Sales lead (1 volunteer needed, primarily administrative)
- Stampede RoundUp (2 or more volunteers needed): sign up at 2026 Stampede RoundUp Volunteers
- Ice Rink Maintenance Crew
