Ice Rink

RINK STATUS:
Hockey Rink – TEMPORARILY CLOSED
Leisure Ice – TEMPORARILY CLOSED

IN AN EFFORT TO SALVAGE THE ICE SURFACES UNTIL OUR WARM-SPELL ENDS, PLEASE STAY OFF BOTH THE ODR AND LEISURE ICE

PLEASE – whether or not the rinks stay open is entirely dependent on user compliance with current Provincial and Municipal regulations and Public Health Orders. This includes social distancing.
If either rink is too busy to maintain the required 2m distance, please try returning another time or wait until users dissipate. In addition, we have been advised that hockey is not currently permitted so the rinks are SKATING ONLY. While that will no doubt disappoint many, we must operate in full compliance so as not to risk losing the use of the rinks all together.
Please help us keep the rinks open so skating fun can continue!
Thank you to all of our dedicated rink crew volunteers for getting the rinks ready to go. We truly appreciate you!
Once the rinks are up and running, your assistance with snow clearing is appreciated. Our volunteer crews sweep and flood between 8:45-10:15PM nightly. Please use the shovels provided to clear snow up and off of the ice surfaces. Simply pushing snow to the side of the ODR makes delays flooding, causing unneeded work for our volunteers.
Outdoor (hockey) Rink (ODR) and Leisure Ice hours (when open) daily for use from 9:00AM to 8:30PM
All skaters are expected to respect fellow skaters of all ages and abilities. Share the ice – build community!
