A Heartfelt Thank You, Discovery Ridge!

Last night’s Movie in the Park brought together roughly 350 residents for an unforgettable screening of SING. From laughter to sing‑alongs to a few dance moves, the joy was contagious. Our food trucks kept everyone fueled and smiling throughout the evening.

We extend a big thank‑you to Fresh Air Cinema for their generous support and the amazing screen that made the night shine.

With Griffith Woods and natural areas surrounding Discovery Ridge, being careful with fire isn’t just something to think about when we’re camping — it matters right here at home.

When enjoying our pathways, parks and natural spaces:

Always dispose of smoking materials safely.
Check for a fire ban before starting an outdoor fire.
Never use fireworks without a permit.
Call 9-1-1 if you see an active fire or immediate danger.
Call 311 for non-emergency outdoor fire concerns.

Most importantly, if you see something that concerns you, report it.

We all have a role to play in protecting the natural spaces we love and the community that surrounds them.
