Our Community Cleanup is coming up on June 13, 2026 — rain or shine!
Event Time: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM Last car: 1:45 PM sharp (trucks must be sealed by 2:00 PM) Tip: Shortest wait times are 9:00–10:30 AM
What to Bring
- Furniture: couches, chairs, tables, dressers
- Mattresses: accepted but fill trucks quickly — bring early
- Electronics & e‑waste: TVs, computers, monitors, cables (recycled by Shanked/SCRI)
- Small working donations: clothing, housewares, small appliances, books, toys (Calgary Drop‑In Centre & Cerebral Palsy Alberta)
- General junk: boxed or bagged if possible
Not Accepted — New for 2026
- Large appliances & scrap metal: take to a City Throw ’n’ Go
- Sports equipment: consider Buy Nothing or donation drives
- Tires: use Alberta Recycling depots
- Commercial waste: will be turned away
- Construction debris: drywall, lumber
- Hazardous items: paint, chemicals, solvents
- Car batteries, propane tanks, fuel
- Yard waste, soil, concrete
- Medical waste: take to a pharmacy or AHS drop‑off

This is a popular, one‑day event and lines can get long later in the day. Please be patient — our volunteers appreciate your kindness. Arriving early helps keep things moving.
